CtCarl: Basically a hand-carried cyclone. Only one or two minor flaws.

This unit performs better than any electric leaf blower I ve ever used, and at least as well as my old gasoline powered blowers. Apparently there s something to the turbine design that allows it to move a great deal more air than traditional models.
