Buyer beware Worked for less than a week. Poor customer service.Buyer Beware This was the third Shark vacuum I had purchased. I ve been a fan of Shark until now. This vacuum worked awesome for less than one week. The second time I used it, the brush roller stopped turning. The vacuum is built in such a way that you cannot take the head apart to troubleshoot yourself. I called Shark customer service. Even after asking for someone who spoke English, I was unable to understand half of what the rep said, and he didn t seem to understand me. After several minutes of frustrating conversation, I found out that he knew what was wrong and the broken part was not covered by warranty. He d be happy to order the part apparently you have to replace the entire head. for me if I d supply my credit information. Are you kidding me Thank goodness for Amazon, I was able to return the vacuum for a full refund. Decided to try a Bissel vacuum. Seems to be working well so far. I don t think it has the suction that the Shark has, but I refuse to do business with a company with such poor customer service. Shark obviously knows there is a problem with this vacuum, but doesn t care enough about their customers to do something about it.
