I ve had this vacuum for about 3 months now and I am really very happy with it. I needed something that would work for a two bedroom apartment, so I didn t want something too big, but the bedrooms have carpet so I needed something that would do both hard floors and carpet. This vacuum seems to do a really good job cleaning both, I m especially impressed by how much gray dusty dirt it collects from my carpets - I can tell it has pretty good suction because of that. It is worth noting that since the majority of the weight is in the handle thing that you hold, it might be a bit of an arm workout. But, it s really not that heavy overall.
