Customer reviewsVery powerful blower for the price
I am going to compare this unit with the echo pb580t i used one last week they cost the same 299 the echo is more comfortable with its anti vibration system and produces 510cfm which is enough for a 1 2 ace moderate to heavy wooded lot the schroter6400l is rated at 920cfm which is normally only produced by the 70cc or higher top end still. red max or echo units the schroter beat the echo pb580t hands down I believe this blower produces 700-800cfm at the nozzle the 920cfm rating must be at the housing that still makes this blower as powerful as other name brand mid grade blowers that cost 450- 550 i did lawn care in the past for over 10 years and would recommend this blower to any professional that does 1 acer or larger wooded lots. P.S i should of checked the instructions blower came with a carburetor adjustment tool and instructions to adjust carburetor 1 8 turn counterclockwise if it bogs down any after doing this it does produce 920cfm at the nozzle took it out in the woods and blew 20 years worth of leaves down to the topsoil dont know how the german engineers managed to make a blower this powerful for the price it costs. 12 01 19 I am following up on a review of the Schroder SR-6400L the blower started to leak oil from the intake elbow gas was leaking from the carburetor into the elbow then evaporating, when speaking to the customer rep. he recommended I use the carburetor adjustment tool because the blower was running too rich I told him I had already did that and the blower was still leaking, he politely told me he was sending a new blower which arrived 2 days later. The new blower had the same problem after checking the internet I found this was a common problem with quite a few different model blowers, maybe a little too much carburetor for the engine better than not enough i guess, to fix this i removed the stock gasket and used fuel resistant gasket maker and added 5mm split lock washers at the screws were the elbow joins, I bought the gasket maker at advance auto parts for 10 and the lock washers at lowes for 1.29 I posted some pictures for the repair overall i am very happy with the customer service and the power of this blower and would recommend this product to anyone needing a powerfull blower.
