The edger does a good job. Lightweight and simple to use. I did not give it five stars because I did not want to mislead anyone. This is nothing like a gas edger. You might have to go back and forth in some places. But I edge my yard every time I mow it so it goes very quickly for me - most of the time. I think it is a lot better than turning a weed eater sideways and much easier on my back.
