User-friendly design lets you quickly switch between horizontal and vertical splitting, so you never have to lift larger logs. Heavy-duty design with industrial I-beam construction and thick steel support brackets to stand up to the toughest conditions. Auto-return wedge saves time. Great price. Have used for many hours at a ...Great price. Have used for many hours at a time. Speed depends on your tractor. If I m in a rush I can high idle and split faster. I tried to add a top plate to split more wood in one pass since I was not having trouble making it through the logs, but it added too much stress and removed the top of the wedge. Removed my modifications and still using.
