This review is for the U2000RB-1. I m not sure why people think this thing is so loud. It s WAY quieter than my 10 year old Eureka. Anyway, this is my first Oreck and I bought it because I m tired of cheap throw-away crap from the big box stores. No, it doesn t have a whole lot of features and no, it doesn t look pretty, but this thing vacuums better than any vacuum I ve ever owned. I just vacuumed my whole house today in half the time it normally takes me and the bag isn t even 1 4 of the way full My old vacuum s tiny canister would have been full and needed a filter washing after all that... That brings up another point, this happens to be my first bag vacuum and I can t believe what I ve been missing out on all these years The bags aren t that expensive less than 1.00 a piece and so much more convenient to use than a canister. I estimate that this bag will take a month or more for me to fill.
