chris: works great and discrimination is about 98

I got one for myself and one for the wife for something to use as a cheap date activity. We attacked three playgrounds today and the machines work great. I have tested the app with the music but have not used it for actual detecting. The sounds it puts out are enough music for me. We went through very trashy parks and were pulling coins left and right. The upright poles for the playground equipment will read on the detector from about a foot away. I highly recommend this detector. I was stuck between it and the bounty Hunter quick silver and I am very glad that we went with the go-find 40. Set-up takes less than 30 seconds and you are ready to search. Perfect to have in your trunk. I want to note that I am not being paid or discounted for this review. My wife and I love them.
