Really, really like this little 12v drill. Daily use with Electrician gig. Gotta learn how to use her a little since it s only 12v, I end up leaving the drill on speed 1 most of the time. Pretty torque-y for a little fella, have busted my knuckles a cpl times, requires a good grip. Drill performance has left me with no complaints and its actually handled a few things that the manual would advise against. Handles a 3 5 8 hole saw through drywall like a champ, wouldn t try it in wood though. Does cut under 2 holes in wood just fine with a hole saw and arbor, have cut a 3.5 hole in some 3 4 plywood, she did it, with a little fuss, but again, got it done, just not as fast as a bigger drill, an extra minute maybe, I can live with that. Also love the Hammer Function on this drill, it s perfect for electrician use where you seem to end up needing using a hammer drill for running tapcons, this drill is perfect for tapcons, I don t need WANT to lug around a massive 18v drill to make 1 4 holes in concrete. That new compact 18v Makita does not have a hammer function, advantage Milwaukee. Drill size is great, nice weight, feels nice in the hand. Seems like in my electrician gig I mostly drill 1 and under holes in wood and tapcon hole drilling, this is a fantastic drill for such a job. No fear in using larger hole saws on speed 1 to drill holes for old work round boxes and metal pie boxes. Have not tried using the drill to cut out holes for old work can lights 6 3 8 hole size , might try it once, got that nice low profile grit tooth recessed light kit saw from Lowes.
