Handy littler blowerMost of the reviews I ve read here are spot on. It s very compact, powerful and handy, all good. It s also quite noisy, as reported as loud as any large blower I ve used, but more siren-like. It has three ranges of speed, and a proportional trigger that lets you vary the speed within the range you have set. It is not an On Off trigger as some have reported. I m not sure the proportional trigger matters much since it s difficult to control and it doesn t seem like a very important feature to me. Using it in an On Off fashion is the most convenient way. The blower is light, but not well-balanced in the hand. It would be painful to hold for as long as it would take to clear leaves in a large area. It s just not suited to that. While the air velocity is great, the volume is modest. It s perfect for what I purchased it for clearing dust from tools and work pieces, and clearing dirt from crevices and corners. I love the satchel that comes with the kit, and it s just the right length to contain the accessory longer nozzle along with the blower, short nozzle, battery and charger. It would score a 5 if it was a little quieter and better balanced.
