Customer reviewsArm saver but discontinued from Makita
Hammering in 20D galvanized ring shank 4 long nails into posts is an arm killer. I had a 26x88 x 16 high pole barn to build and the 20D nails were just murder on my arm. Then I bought this reconditioned Makita AG125 unit and look forward to hammering them in. Never bent a single one, though most would be nailed off at a slightly crooked unpredictable angle because the nail guide doesn t seem to hold 20D and larger nail heads to the magnet. The Makita replacement parts of this nailer - be warned- is filled with discontinued items, and the nail guide part alone has a replacement part price of 231. The replacement magnet parts for example are no longer available from Makita.
