The BEST tool in my tool boxI can t believe I waited so long to get this nailer. Don t let the size fool you, working on my deck, installing joist hangers and just plain nailing 8d 1 1 2 to 2 1 2 inch Grip Rite galvanized nails go in like butter. Some nail heads are slightly larger than others so, for convenience, it s good to be mindful of this. The Grip Rites nail heads fit perfect in the magnetic holder which really is the trick freeing-up the other hand to hold the wood or hanger in place. And with my little Harbor Freight 6 G pancake compressor, this palm nailer sings. ...And the compressor doesn t cycle on as much as I thought it would.
