Customer reviewsI love the features
I ve bought two of these over the years. I love the features, love that it extends, it s lightweight, no cords, the head is adjustable. However, you have to push three different levers to make it run, which when you have it fully extended, is very hard to do. I probably shouldn t mention this, but I solved this by using a couple of zip ties to permanently depress the lever on the handle. . The plastic deteriorates over time, by the time the last one finally broke, it was more glue and and hose clamps than actual product, we had doctored it so many times. The head weighs the most, and it seems like it gets the weakest support, twice the head in the last one broke off and twice my husband was able to macgyver it back together. We looked for a similar product made a little sturdier, but the only one I could find that had these features was from Toro and was gas powered and very expensive. We decided to just buy another one of these, because even with it s flaws it still got us several years. The battery life is good, it has no memory, so you can charge it as many times as you like without wearing the battery out. It does a great job cutting, be sure to use some type of lubricant on the blades between uses, also spray it down with a disinfecting spray like Lysol to kill any fungus, you won t spread disease from one plant to another that way. That will also help with mold. OVerall the idea is great, but the execution leaves a little to be desired. Really hope the company address the strength of the plastic and the design of the head because I d like to give it more stars.
