Jeff: Nice saw. Does the basic miter cross cuts ...

Nice saw. Does the basic miter cross cuts with no fuss. Decent blade comes with the unit. Easy to adjust the compound angle on it too just don t forget to zero it out again before you make your next straight cut . It does allow you to micro-adjust your degree of cut if it s not set exactly at the factory but I ve never had to yet . However, when you adjust, you move all of your stops when you move the protractor plate that has the notches in it for your positive stops, i.e. if you adjust the plate half of a degree, all of the stops get adjusted that amount.
