Bought this Bounty Hunter Junior T.I.D. Metal Detector for my grandson s 9th birthday. He was delighted. He is just starting out on his metal detecting journey. After reading reviews from several different models, I chose this one. Perfect for a beginner, especially one at his age. He facetimes me from Tennessee when he has found something interesting. He is really enjoying his new found hobby . This model is sturdy and not too expensive. Was easy to handle for a child. Thanks Bounty Hunter
