Modern Paleo: Powerful and easy to use

I just did some major demo on a barn and this tool was indispensable. I could cut through pretty much anything with it - even layers of 2x4s with nails. The saw is very powerful indeed, and it s super simple to use. Just pop the blade in, plug in and go. It feels solid as well - heavy, solid construction gives confidence when taking it out to a big job. The only down side is in the blade set that comes with the tool. While I haven t tried the metal or wood only blades, the wood with nails blades seemed to underperform. They were thinner than I expected, and seemed to wear out pretty quickly. This is a cheap fix though - I bought the DeWalt blades to replace them, and those are almost 1 mm thicker than the stock Bosch blades. The DeWalt blades fit perfectly, and with the greater thickness, they are much sturdier, and made cutting through the old wood a lot easier. I got 4 of those blades for 11, and I ended up only needing one of them for the remainder of the job about 3 hours worth of constant cutting. For some perspective, the Bosch stock blade worked for about 1 hour before it was too worn and bent to be usable. The DeWalt blade easily outperformed, lasting 3 times longer, and has not yet needed to be changed.
