I ve used this BLACK DECKER LSTE525R 20V MAX 1.5 Ah Cordless Lithium-Ion EASYFEED weedeater on several yards, big and small, thick grass and tall weeds, and overall I m very impressed with its performance. I also own the version of this same model that doesn t have the easyfeed button and I find myself preferring this model because so far I ve been able to control when it feeds the line and it s saved me unneeded loss of weedeater line. It came with two 1.5 Ah 20v batteries but I already had a plethora of high capacity 20v batteries from the other B D products I own so I tend to use those as the run time is much longer. As a side note, when using the easyfeed button, sometimes it might take pushing it twice before it feeds more line. Basically, pushing and quickly releasing this button while the spool is spinning causes the weedeater spool to suddenly stop for a second thus initializing the autofeed spoolhead to release a small amount of line from the spool. The spoolhead is the same as on my other B D weedeater that just has autofeed. At first I thought something might be wrong with the unit but after I got the hang of how it s supposed to work with the easyfeed button, I find it works better than the other units that just have auto feed.
